About Composition

N-Acetyl Cysteine:

N-Acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a commonly used safe mucolytic drug. NAC increases the cellular levels of antioxidant and reduces glutathione at higher doses. Therefore, NAC has a potential to improve insulin receptor activity in human erythrocytes and improve insulin secretion in response to glucose. Improvement in insulin receptor activity in hyperinsulinemic subjects can lead to a secondary decrease in the β-cell responsiveness to the oral glucose tolerance test. Advantages resulting from administration of NAC include prevention of endothelial damage resulting from oxidants in noninsulin-dependent adult diabetic subjects and biological effects such as, protection against focal ischemia, inhibition of phospholipid metabolism inhibition, proinflammatory cytokine release, and protease activity. Therefore, effects exerted by NAC at the ovarian level may be as beneficial as its insulin-enhancing effects in inducing ovulation.

DHA:

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is an omega-3 fatty acid. DHA is commonly used for heart disease and high cholesterol. It is also used for boosting memory and thinking skills, for aiding infant and child development, for certain eye disorders, and many other conditions, DHA plays a key role in the development of eye and nerve tissues. DHA may also reduce the risk of heart and circulatory disease by decreasing the thickness of the blood and lowering blood levels of triglyceride.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA):

Alpha-Lipoic acid (ALA) is a natural antioxidant, identified as a catalytic agent for oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate and α-ketoglutarate. ALA reduces oxidative stress and insulin resistance in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The association of N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), alpha-lipoic acid (ALA), is used for prevention and treatment of endometriosis. ALA could be used in prevention of diabetic embryopathy and premature rupture of fetal membranes induced by inflammation. ALA can be safely used for treatment of neuropathic pain and as a dietary support during pregnancy.

Inositol:

D-chiro-inositol is an inositol isoform derived from myo-inositol through an epimerization process and this reaction is insulin dependent. Inositol has been used as a supplement in treating several pathologies such as PCOS, metabolic syndrome, and gestational diabetes. D-chiro-inositol showed insulin mimetic effects in conditions of insulin resistance. Type 2 diabetes (T2DM) is a condition typically caused by insulin resistance. There is a lack of evidence of inositol use in T2DM. D-chiro-inositol-based second messengers promote glycogen synthesis, second messengers based on myo-inositol regulate glucose intake increasing the activity of glucose transport proteins. Inositol has been mainly used as a supplement in treating several pathologies such as PCOS, metabolic syndrome, and gestational diabetes (GDM).

Vitamin C:

Vitamin C is needed by the body to form collagen. The body also uses vitamin C to make skin, tendons, ligaments and blood vessels. It also uses this vitamin to repair and maintain cartilage, bones and teeth, to heal wounds and to form scar tissue.

Calcium (As Calcium Carbonate):

It is very important mineral required for the body growth. Calcium has numerous use in the body which include providing structure to the body by forming bones, major component of teeth’s, important ion for skeletal muscle and cardiac contraction. Calcium also stimulates release of neurotransmitters, hormones and other secretions inside the body. It also helps in maintaining blood pressure.

Side Effects

The product is possible safe for most adults. There is no disadvantage associated with the product if taken under the recommended usage however common side effects include Gas, constipation, loose stool, and loss of appetite sometimes happen, especially at the beginning of the regimen.
